Description: We are currently seeking a Travel ED- RN for our client in Dodge City, KS!

Duties

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Promotes health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process.
• Develops and implements patient care plans and evaluates outcomes.
• Demonstrates competencies in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions.
• Educates patients and families based on assessed needs.
• Delegates to non-RN personnel as per hospital policy.
• Serves as a professional role model.
• Participates in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities.
• Adapts to rapidly changing technologies and equipment.
  
  

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Nursing skills and knowledge specific to specialty.
  
  

Float Requirements

• Float assignments may include duties outside the original job requirements.
  
  

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• State RN license (or participating state in NLC).
• Certifications:
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) / ENPC
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
